Lake Tahoe
Lake Tahoe is located on the border of California and Nevada. About two-thirds of the lake is in California, with about one-third extending into Nevada. Since part of South Lake Tahoe extends into Nevada, gambling is legal in South Lake Tahoe.
Airport
Reno-Tahoe International Airport is 56 miles and approximately 55 minutes by vehicle, making it the nearest and generally most convenient.
Sacramento International Airport is a second option, located 117 miles southwest and approximately 2 hours and 5 minutes by vehicle
